Spiritual Growth
Congrats on accepting Jesus Christ as you personal Lord and Savior! You have been redeemed by the grace of Jesus and saved from hell. You took the most important step.
However, your journey has just begun. God calls us into a relationship with Him, because we're not meant to do life without Him. Below are ways that you can grow in your faith and draw closer to God.

Pray
Pray to God, He wants to hear from you. In any relationship, communication is key, and that includes your relationship with God! You can pray to God about anything. You can tell Him about your day, you can praise Him and give thanks for all the good He's done in you life, and even ask for help in troubling times. God loves you, and He is listening to your prayers and He is also speaking and answering prayers.
Read
Read your bible. If you don't have a physical bible, you can download a bible app. I recommend starting in the Gospel of John. There are many translations out there- I recommend finding a translation that is true to the original text and easy to read, such as NKJV, ESV, NASB.
NIV and NLT are also great if you're a new reader!
Repent
Repentance is just a fancy way of saying "change your mind" (in this case, from sin). When we repent, we turn away from sin and allow God to transform our minds and hearts. As long as we are in this fallen world, we are exposed to sin, whether willfully or accidentally. There is only One free from sin, and that is the Lord Jesus. The Lord tells us to be holy because He is holy, which means set apart from the world. God can radically transform our lives, but it is up to us to decide whether we want to live in that freedom or go back to living in bondage.
Fellowship
Iron sharpens iron! It is important that we surround ourselves with other believers if we want to grow. Find a church near you that preaches the full bible, profess your faith through water baptism, and maybe even join a church group, like a bible study group. Make some friends that love Jesus and would help you mature in spirit.
Discipleship
Reading the bible at home is great, but if you are new to the faith, it helps to be led by people who have been following Christ for many years and have a heart for helping new believers navigate their faith journey. Perhaps your church offers a discipleship program. I would also recommend going on YouTube and learning from men of God like Mike Winger.
